Paw Art

Make paw prints of your dogs. All you need is some non-toxic paint, paper or canvas and maybe an extra set of hands. Have fun and create something artistic and meaningful that you can hang on the wall and keep forever.

Training

It is the perfect time to master the basics of obedience training, teach your dog some tricks or try clicker training. Teach them or refresh the basics like stay, sit, come or shake. Bake

There are lots of treats you can make at home for your doggo just be sure to use dog-safe ingredients. HERE are a few that we like.

Insta Fun

Start your dog an Instagram page. This can be lots of fun! Sharing your dog’s life, posting photos and taking on their personality to create posts. Who knows they might end up being a famous #dogfluencer.

Treasure Hunt

Hide treats around the house for your dog to sniff out. You can make it as easy or as hard as you like. This can lead into scent training where the dog needs to find a treat and respond by sitting or reacting in a certain way to tell you the treat is there. It could keep you all busy for hours. Just a tip, don’t forget where you hid all the treats otherwise you might end up with some “uninvited” participants over the next few days.

Obstacle Course

Set up a fun obstacle course and put your dog’s agility and training to good use. Create jumps, ramps, weave poles and more out of things you have at home.

Pamper Session

Well, who doesn’t love a good pamper session? Have them looking and smelling their best with a relaxing bath, brush, clip, ear clean, teeth brushing or nail trim (you could even paint their nails if you’re game). Shop for all your dog’s grooming needs here.

Play Games

There are so many fun games you can play with your dog from fetch, tug-o-war or how about a game of hide and seek. Puzzle toys and activity mats are fantastic for boredom busters and work best if you can interact with your dog while they play, showing them how they work.
